The city was a very well defended one and visitors can still see remnants of the walls that had 15 meters height and 98 towers, all prepared to protect Murcia from any invasion.

Next comes the Real Casino, the magnificent building dating back to the 19th century; the casino is one of the most exquisite examples of modernist architecture in the country.
